Garth Arsenault of CVER presented a project summary on Oyster Mortality in Bedeque Bay, PEI at the annual meeting of the Prince Edward Island Shellfish Association (PEISA) in March 2010 in Summerside PEI.

In attendance at the meeting were the Honourable Gail Shea, Federal Minister of Fisheries, Honourable Neil LeClair, Provincial Minister of Fisheries, Aquaculture and Rural Development, PEISA executive, oyster industry representatives, and researchers from PEIDFARD and DFO. PEISA staff also spoke on their ongoing oyster restoration and enhancement programs. Neil MacNair and Matt Smith gave presentations on their oyster related research.
