Carolyn Dohoo wins 2nd prize for oral presentation at 2010 Student Conference for the CSEB

Carolyn Dohoo (yes, daughter of Ian Dohoo) recently gave an oral presentation entitled "The impact of biogas digesters on health and quality of life measures in Kenyan farmwomen" at the 2010 Student Conference for the Canadian Society for Epidemiology and Biostatistics. The presentation was very well received, and she must have done a great job because she won 2nd prize for all oral presentations. Well done Carolyn!  She is completing a MSc in the Department of Community Health and Epidemiology at Dalhousie University in Halifax, but her research is being supervised by CVER's John VanLeeuwen. Other committee members include Kim Critchley at UPEI and Mark Gibson and Judy Guernsey at Dalhousie.
