Alejandro Ceballos of CVER has won a full scholarship to attend the next TEMA 13 (Trace Elements in Man and Animals) meeting.
This society meets on a regular basis every three years, and the meeting this year will be held in Pucon, Chile http://www.tema13.net/ going from Nov. 10 to Nov. 13. TEMA is devoted to promoting the latest studies in the use of trace elements in nutrition and its impact on health issues.
Alejandro will be presenting the paper: "Effect of selenium supplementation on udder health in pasture-based dairy cattle", and has co-authored the paper: "Effect of selenium supplementation on milk yield in grazing dairy cows"
The TEMA 14 will be in China in 2011.
