Dr. Carrie Lavers, currently out on maternity leave, was recently awarded one the 2010 G. Murray and Hazel Hagerman Scholarships at the Graduate Studies and Reseach Days Awards.
This scholarship provided an amount equivalent to one years tuition (half of the Masters program fee or 1/3 PhD program fee) to one or more deserving AVC graduate Students. Additionally Carrie was awarded the Dr. E. Errol Hancock Scholarship which goes to a graduate student from Nova Scotia with the highest academic standing. Carrie is a PhD student for the Department of Health Management and is also a member of CVER. Well done Carrie!
