Peter Sykes, a graduate student with AVC's Centre for Veterinary Epidemiological Research and PhD candidate in the Department of Health Management, was recognized with a national student scholarship on May 18, 2010.

The award was presented at the annual meeting of the Aquaculture Association of Canada, which was held in St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador. Peter is working with the AVC’s Centre for Aquatic Health Sciences on health and productivity monitoring of cage-cultured Atlantic halibut in the Bay of Fundy.  Congratulations, Peter!
