CVER has great showing at Graduate Studies and Research Days Awards

Three CVER Graduate Students were recently awarded the BMO Graduate Student Research Scholarship at the Graduate Studies and Research Days awards.  Dr. Emilie Laurin, Dr. Sihar Dorjee and  Dr. Fernanda Dorea were all recipients of this new award which aims to recognize the expanding research and graduate training programs at AVC.

The award goes to deserving Canadian or non-Canadian graduate students at AVC. These are non-renewable scholarships of $5000 to assist graduate students at the outset of their graduate program.  All graduate students (MSc, MVSc, PhD) currently registered in AVC who were first enrolled in an AVC graduate program on or after May 1, 2010 are eligible to apply for this scholarship. Candidates may hold this scholarship in conjunction with other funding.

Award are based primarily on academic performance in previous degree programs, and the quality of the information provided in the cover letter. Selections are based on the recommendations of the Graduate Studies and Research Committee.
