The Prince Edward Island Veterinary Leadership Award is the highest award given by the PEIVMA.

It recognizes a veterinarian’s strong career of achievement and dedication to the profession, his or her Prince Edward Island community, and the health and welfare of animals.

This award was presented to our own Ian R. Dohoo, DVM, PhD, FCAHS, Professor Emeritus - Epidemiology, at the PEIVMA AGM on Saturday, November 3, 2012. The award was presented by Dr. Wade Sweet, PEIVMA President.
