Congratulations to Dr. J. McClure who was recently promoted to full Professor by the UPEI Board of Governors.

Jay has provided strong leadershp in research and teaching in our Department. His research is seen as applied and useful, and addresses important industry problems.  He has provided much expertise to the Canadian veterinary community through his participation on various working groups dealing with the use of veterinary pharmaceuticals and its impact on animal and human health. Through this work, Dr. McClure has been recongized nationally for his expertise in antimicrobial resistance and food safety.
