Dr. Kristen Reyher Recognized for Graduate Work

Dr. Kristen Reyher of CVER has been awarded a prestigious NSERC Canada Graduate Scholarship in support of her graduate program.

Kristen is the former National Manager of the CBMRN National Cohort of Dairy Farms (NCDF) study and is now in an MSc program at UPEI with an expectation of carrying on to do a PhD. As National Manager of the NCDF study, Kristen was responsible for the conduct of the largest coordinated animal health study ever undertaken in Canada. Its smooth operation over two years was a testament to Kristen's organizational abilities. Kristen's graduate program is supervised by Dr. Ian Dohoo and
she is part of the team working on the  "IMI project" - quantifying the incidence of new intra-mammary infections in Canadian dairy cattle and developing tools for monitoring the incidence within herds.
