Dr. Larry Hammell of CVER and Aquatic Health Sciences was recently awarded the 2008-2009 Merit Award for Scholarly Achievement.

  Dr. Hammell leads the pre-eminent international group devoted to aquatic epidemiology (AVC Centre for Aquatic Health Sicences).  Larry has been a tremendous resource to the aquaculture industries in the region, and has done a great job of training the future scientists that will carry on and expand his work.  Congratulations Larry!!
