Dr. Carrie Lavers has commenced her post doctoral research under the supervision of Dr. Greg Keefe. Her area of research is Dairy cattle health and production (Johne's disease, water consumption, BVD, milk components (casein). Dr. Lavers completed her PhD in 2013 and her thesis was titled: Evaluation of diagnostic tests for detection of Mycobacterium avium subsp. paratuberculosis at the herd-level and cow-level. Dr. Lavers is a busy Mom of three, who has also previously obtained her DVM. Welcome back to the AVC Carrie!
