CVER would like to pass on best wishes to Dr. Omid Nekouei on the completion of his comprehensive exam for his PhD candidacy. His area of research is titled: "Study of Prevalence, Risk Factors, and Impact of Enzootic Bovine Leucosis in Canadian Dairy Farms" and his supervisor is Dr. Greg Keefe. Other supervisory committee members are Drs. John VanLeeuwen, Henrik Stryhn, Javier Sanchez, Paul Hanna & David Kelton. Previously, Omid obtained his DVM at the University of Tehran. Dr. Nekouie has not finalized his future plans yet but hopes to pursue a 'postdoc' in his field of interest, Epidemiology.
