Dr. Shawn McKenna of CVER and the Atlantic Veterinary College travelled to Alberta to speak at the JD Traning seminar from September 13th - 15th, 2011. The Alberta dairy industry has committed to work to promote an awareness and education initiative to minimize the spread of Johne’s Disease (JD) in dairy herds. 

Dr. Mckenna has been heavily involved in JD research at the AVC for several years.
