Epi-on-the-Island 2009 is currently underway at UPEI.

This year's course is “An Introduction to Multilevel Modelling” and is being taught by Henrik Stryhn, Ian Dohoo and Jon Smith. Participants include AVC graduate students, graduate students from all 4 of the other Canadian Veterinary Colleges (Montreal, Guelph, Saskatoon and Calgary), research from other Canadian Universities and institutions as well as international participants from Portugal, Denmark, Belgium and Norway. Epi-on-the-Island is being limited to onw eek this year because a number of additional courses are being offered in conjunction with the International symposium on Veterinary epidemiology and Economics (ISVEE) in South Africa in August.
