Dr. JT McClure, Chair of the Department of Health Management, AVC and Dr. Anne Muckle were awarded $247,908 in funding for research on Atlantic Canada retail meat sampling for the Canadian Integrated Program for Antimicrobial Resistance (CIPARS) which part of the Public Health Agency of Canada.

The funding for the contract was to begin June 17th, 2010 and will run to March 31st, 2010.
