Dr. Raphael Vanderstichel was recently award the 2011 OGS Award of Distinction which goes to a convocating graduate student from AVC who excelled in their graduate program, and/or made outstanding contributions to their faculty, university and discipline.

Raphael recently completed his PhD for the Department of Health Management and is now doing post doctoral work in a project to apply a modern approach to ongoing surveillance for Trichinella, Brucella, and Pseudorabies in commercial swine.
