The Shellfish Research group has established a Portable Aquatics Laboratory (PAL) that can be situtated near estuaries to study treatment strategies for the mitigation of aquatic invasive species. The PAL is currently functional on the Georgetown wharf. Utiliizing the water from the estuaries allows a salt water flow through the system.
