Sithar Dorjee recently joined CVER to complete his PhD under the supervision of Drs. Sanchez and Dohoo.  

Sithar will be working on disease modeling of zoonotic diseases. 

Sithar is originally from Bhutan and obtained his DVM and Master degrees from Kerala Agricultural University in India and Massey University in New Zealand, respectively. Before joining CVER, Sithar was employed as the Deputy Chief Regulatory and Quarantine officer for the Government of Buthan.
