Johannes CharlierWelcome to Johannes Charlier from the Dept. of Virology, Parasitology and Immunology at Ghent University, Belgium. Johannes leads the epidemiology portion of the large research program that Ghent has on Ostertagia in cattle (and immunologic monitoring of parasite burdens). Ghent Univ. and UPEI are the two main centres in the world working on this issue. Johannes is here to work on the analysis of data from a recently completed herd-level clinical trial and wants to tap into expertise within the CVER group in terms of data analysis - particularly multilevel modelling. UPEI graduate student, Raphael Vanderstichel will, in turn, spend some time in Johannes laboratory in Ghent. Johannes will be here until August 9th and will present a seminar on their units work in a couple of weeks (time and place TBA).
